Contact us by phone

Always contact us by phone for an urgent medical issue. It will help us give you a same day response if you can call us before 10.00am. Our receptionists will ask you some questions from our care navigation system.  The system has been put together by our GPs to ensure you always see the right clinician or receive appropriate guidance.   

For all other queries or appointments, please contact us online if possible. If you are not able to use our website, please call between 10.00am and 6.00pm.

If your query is not urgent, please submit your request via our website between 8.00am and 6.00pm.  We will use our care navigation system to ensure you receive an appropriate response within 2 working days.  There is no need to call us to confirm we have received your request.

Non urgent medical query or appointment	From our homepage, select Contact us online Select I want to see online advice for general NHS advice and guidance on a range of common conditions. Or choose I want help for a medical issue if you require a direct response from the surgery. You will be asked some questions on a form that will help our receptionists use our care navigation system to direct you to the appropriate team.  The system has been put together by our GPs to ensure you always see the right clinician or receive appropriate guidance.
General queries	If your query is a more general one such as a doctor’s letter, fitness to work statement, a referral follow up or test results, select Contact us online from our homepage.Then select I have an admin query

Royal Crescent Surgery is located at The Wilson Health Centre, 236 Prestbury Road, Cheltenham GL52 3EY.

We have a sustainable travel policy in place for staff and patients. We encourage patients and staff to consider walking, cycling or using public transport if you are able to and if it is practical for you.

On foot

We are about midway along Prestbury Road. The road is generally well lit and has wide pavements.

By bike

We have covered cycle stands for use by patients at the front of the building.

By bus

Several buses run along Prestbury Road or nearby

• Pulhams 606 to Prestbury Road
• Stagecoach Route W service to Prestbury Road
• Stagecoach Route A to Lynworth Exchange

By car

We have a car park located at the rear of the building for patient and staff use. You should be able to park on site, although places may be restricted at particularly busy times.

If you need help when we are closed

If you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online or call 111.

NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.

Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.

We are an accessible surgery

Our modern building has been designed to be as inclusive as possible and meets a wide range of access needs. Accessible options include:

• Car parking spaces for blue badge holders
• All entrances and rooms are wheelchair accessible
• Lifts to access rooms on first or second floor
• Clear signage throughout the building
• Hearing loops in reception
• Interpreters can be provided on request
