National GP Patient Survey results published

We were delighted to get the results of the annual NHS GP Patient Survey this week.

The results show that Royal Crescent Surgery are better than national and local averages in every category. This doesn’t happen by accident and a huge thank you to the whole team for the amazing work they do supporting and caring for our patients.

Thank you also to all the patients who completed the survey earlier in the year. We are grateful for and humbled by your appreciation.

We were particularly pleased that:

  • 91% of patients had a good overall experience at the practice (compared to 74% national average)
  • 98% had confidence and trust in the healthcare professional they saw or spoke to (compared to 92% national average)
  • 97% found the reception and admin team helpful (compared to 83% national average)

We know we have more work to do and won’t be resting on our laurels. In particular:

  • we want to get better at helping patients contact us by phone and via the website.
  • we want to improve the ways you can give us feedback and be more responsive to your suggestions for improvements
