Dr Phillip Kurlbaum (m)
MD (Hanover 1993) MRCGP (London 2001)

Phil has been with the practice since 2004and is the senior partner. In addition to full general practice services, he is lead GP in chronic kidney disease, cardiac care and orthopaedics. He has an interest in occupational medicine. He speaks fluent German.

Dr Valerie E Cogger (f)
BM (Southampton 1979), DCH, DRCOG, DFSRH

Val became a partner in 2003 but has worked in the practice since 1996. In addition to offering a full general practice service, she has a specialist interest in womens’ health, full contraceptive services, menopause, osteoporosis, asthma, atrial fibrillation and warfarin monitoring.

Dr Jonathan Williams (m)
MB BCh (Cardiff 1996) DRCOG DFSRH, MRCGP

Jon joined the practice as a full-time partner in October 2008 although he worked at the practice for four years prior to that. He offers a full range of general practice care and is lead GP in child health, dementia and mental health.

Dr Hasan Yilmaz (m)
MBBS, MRCGP, DFFP, Post-Graduate Diploma in Dermatology and Diabetes

After studying in Plymouth Hasan worked as a GP in and around Bath for ten years. He joined us as a Partner in 2017. He has special interests in diabetes, dermatology, care of the elderly and minor operations. He is a teaching doctor and oversees the training of our registrars.

Dr Rebecca Usher (f)
MB, ChB (Edinburgh 2005), MRCGP. DRCAG, DFSRH

Rebecca joined the practice in June 2016, having previously worked in a GP practice in the south of the county. She has a broad range of interests offering a full spectrum of women’s health and contraceptive services including implants, coils and pessary changes. She is also interested in paediatrics, ENT and mental health.

Dr Christine Haseler (f)
MA MSc MB BCh MRCGP (2010) DFSRH

Dr Haseler joined the practice in February 2021, she trained in Cambridge and Birmingham. In her early career she spent time in Switzerland and Belgium before returning to General Practice in Cheltenham. Her interests are musculoskeletal medicine, physical activity and lifestyle and women’s health. She has roles in governance and case investigation for the region and nationally.
